Scrum Master Project Manager (CSM)Project ManagerBoston, MAOur 50-person Project Management Office team in Technology is looking for someone with the flexibility to work collaboratively and independently who can be persuasive and motivating and attentive to detail—while always keeping an eye on the big picture.Responsibilities:Guiding the team on how to use agile/scrum practices and values while maintaining the firm's culture and spiritFacilitating scrum meetings, including the daily standup, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectiveHelping the team to self-organize and self-directRemoving impediments or guiding the team to do so by finding the right personnelWorking closely with the business analyst and product owner to organize and prioritize backlogSupporting the team through a servant leadership styleProviding scrum master services to multiple teams concurrently (usually about 2 teams)Providing traditional project management support for some projects that may not be done using agile/scrumQualifications:2-3 years of experience as a scrum masterMust be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM)Prior experience working in an environment transitioning from traditional project management (waterfall methodology) to an agile environment (scrum)Prior experience working with multiple scrum teams on a single project is a plus2-5 years of project management experience a plusExperience working independently, as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environmentStrong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPersuasive, adaptable, encouraging, and motivatingAn independent learner and self-starterAn eye for detail but able to see the big pictureA background in financial services is a plus
