We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams through the successful execution of technology initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. This role serves as a servant leader, ensuring Agile best practices are followed, removing impediments, and helping teams consistently deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead Agile teams to ensure effective execution of project goals, milestones, and delivery commitments.
- Manage and optimize team workflows while promoting Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to prioritize work and align deliverables with business objectives.
- Translate high-level requirements into epics, features, and user stories that support project execution.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics to ensure transparency and predictability.
- Identify, manage, and remove obstacles that may impact team productivity or project delivery.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and facilitate communication among stakeholders and project participants.
- Track project status, risks, issues, and achievements while providing regular updates to leadership.
- Support Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives across teams and programs.
- Ensure project activities remain aligned with contractual, organizational, and program objectives.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reporting artifacts using Agile management tools.
- Mentor team members on Agile methodologies, servant leadership principles, and continuous improvement practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Coordinator.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and Lean practices.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing software delivery lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage team backlogs, sprint planning processes, and delivery tracking activities.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex project dependencies.
- Ability to identify and resolve impediments while fostering team accountability and collaboration.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing status reports, metrics, and executive-level communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations.
- Familiarity with project governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within highly regulated or government environments.
- Knowledge of Agile portfolio management and scaled delivery frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
