Guidance for the team relating to utilization of Agile practices and how to best ensure successful self-organizationAbility to lead without explicit authority. Partnering with other teams to remove impediments and appropriately track dependencies with internal or external customersFacilitation of discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution in support of attainment of value without coercion or dictating the work to be completedSupport of and collaboration with the Product Owner (= business owner) with respect to grooming and maintaining the product work backlogFacilitates SAFe ceremonies for the Agile team. Understands Agile principles and systems thinkingJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Organizational Management, or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is required5 years IT industry experienceMinimum of one year of experience in a Scrum or Agile role within ITMust have previous development experienceKnowledge of and/or experience with the Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

SAFe Scrum Master certification (SM) preferredProficient skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, relentless improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyStrong knowledge of Agile software development processes and techniquesAn understanding of how to apply the principles, practices, and theory of the Scrum Master role in Agile developmentComprehensive knowledge of and experience with Agile process, tools, and techniques, including Program Kanban boards, User Story writing, Burndown techniques, and Retrospective facilitationExperience with teams delivering value in large systems or many smaller systemsStrong leadership and team building skills. Ability to work well with cross-functional Agile teams and the ability to foster team commitment to tasksExcellent communication and mentoring skillsUnderstanding and translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand business language.
