Agile Scrum Master/Agile Coach OpportunityAn excellent opportunity for an Agile Scrum Master/Agile Coach to work with Fortune 100 clients in Charlotte, NC. Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr.Essential duties include:Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customersGuiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organizationGuiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworksAssessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organizationRemoving impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impedimentBuilding a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solvingFacilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the workFacilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolutionAssisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating informationSupporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlogProviding all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by exampleRequired skills/experience:Minimum Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of overall IT experienceAt least 5 years of experience in one or more flavors of Agile (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean) - SAFE Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is desirable8+ years with end to end IT Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management solutionsStrong project management and experience in both Waterfall, iterative, and Agile methodologiesWork in client facing, fast pace, and high pressure jobEnsure coordination with Scrum team and product owner on a daily basis throughout the sprint for clear and concise product backlog itemsHands-on or working experience with Agile tools like Horizon, Riley etcProject Management Institute (PMI) certification is desirable (Not must)Facilitate daily scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetingsExpert in estimation and planning.
