Scrum MasterIn this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact. This role involves reviewing and analyzing large-scale, multi-faceted engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation. You will contribute to resolving complex situations by applying a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.Drive Agile delivery execution and ensure adherence to Scrum principles and frameworks.Manage sprint progress, track goals, and monitor overall delivery health.Support backlog refinement and collaborate with Product Owners on prioritization.Monitor Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time to improve predictability and team performance.Identify and remove blockers, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on delivery objectives.Coach teams on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement.Utilize Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools to manage delivery workflows.Required QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

This must include extensive experience as a Scrum Master in software engineering delivery environments.Technical Skills: Strong experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting. Proficient in monitoring and acting on Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, and cycle time.Preferred QualificationsA Scrum certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).Experience working in enterprise environments, including cloud platforms, data platforms, or DevOps ecosystems.A prior background in engineering, quality assurance, or software development.Experience supporting large-scale, multi-team Agile delivery environments and managing cross-team dependencies.Experience with NexusOne technology is a plus.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
