Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction has earned us a reputation as a global leader in our field.Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, including 10 paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), discretionary annual profit sharing, work boot and prescription safety glasses allowance, company provided uniforms, exciting and challenging projects in a collaborative work environment, on-site walking trail, and convenience cafeteria.Responsibilities include operating one or more, typically two, six spindle screw machines, bench setting collets, feed tubes, feed fingers, drills, and cross side tools, changing collets, bushings, and feed fingers in stock feeding mechanism, changing gears, stops, and cams (if necessary), inspecting tools and comparing to tool layout verifying all tools and tool holders using various gauges, adjusting tools to bring parts into conformance with print, submitting first piece for inspection and starting machine, replacing worn tools and sharpening cut off blades, loading bar stock into bar feed mechanism, performing routine maintenance checks (lube level, cutting oil level, etc.), notifying lead if tooling is getting low, keeping machines and area clean and orderly, weighing parts accurately, emptying and spinning chips, notifying lead person or technical advisor if job is not producing, filling out time slip completely and accurately, and performing parts inspections in accordance with Quality Procedure.Requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred, ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally, strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, fractions, and decimals, ability to lift and carry 15 ft.
