Machine Screw Operator/MachinistWe are currently seeking a Machine Screw Operator/Machinist to work with multi-spindle automatic screw machines in a high-energy manufacturing setting. This position involves creating precise machined components to exact specifications, upholding quality standards, and ensuring seamless machine operation throughout different shifts.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, run, and oversee multi-spindle automatic screw machines for consistent and efficient performanceProduce parts according to blueprints, meeting quality and dimensional requirementsCheck and measure parts during production using precise tools to maintain complianceModify machine settings, feeds, speeds, cams, and tooling as necessary for quality and productivityReplace, sharpen, and upkeep tooling, drills, taps, inserts, and coolant systemsLoad, monitor, and restock bar stock to prevent interruptions in productionTackle machine problems and make minor adjustments or repairs to reduce downtimeAccurately complete production and quality records (log sheets, inspection reports, etc.)Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S and safety guidelinesEffectively communicate with supervisors and fellow operators during shift transitionsRequirementsPrior experience operating multi-spindle automatic screw machines is essentialAbility to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsProficiency using precise measurement and inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining fundamentals (speeds, feeds, tooling)High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining training is a bonusCapability to work independently and manage multiple machines simultaneouslyShift/ScheduleOptions for day and night shifts are availableAdditional pay offered for night shift workCompensation$25–$27/hr, depending on experienceNight shift differential included
