Read below for more information!1st Shift | 7:00am-4:30pm | Monday-ThursdayTemporary or Temp-to-hireWhat You'll Do as a Screw Machine Operator:Consistently check parts produced with inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gages, optical comparator, etc.Replace tools and drills and for setting tools when necessaryResponsible for counting parts with scale and keeping track of total number of parts produced for job reportingPerform basic setup and/or maintenance on machines along with various other part processing or other miscellaneous duties as assignedClean parts to production or shipping requirements utilizing parts cleaning equipmentDeburr parts to production requirements utilizing parts deburring equipmentEngrave parts to production requirements utilizing parts engraving equipmentPerform light assembly of components onto parts per requirementsWork with the production department to ensure timely shipment of subcontract deliveries and completed ordersPackage parts for shipping per instructions from shipping manager and customer requirementsWhat You Need to Bring to the Screw Machine Operator Role:High school diploma or GEDPrevious machining and/or mechanical experience is preferredAbility to carry out instructions, both written and verbalAbility to read and comprehend part drawings and specifications accuratelyBasic math skills and ability to use a calculatorAbility to learn quickly and retain knowledgeAbility to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
