Screen Print Press OperatorALG is seeking a screen print press operator with knowledge and experience in the screen printing process.
Experience in apparel screen printing, with multi-color and/or automatic press will be considered in lieu of flatbed and cylinder printing press experience. Equipment is M&R flatbeds and Sakurai cylinder press. Prior printing experience required.Fundamental responsibilities include:Operating production equipment safely and efficiently, producing quality products.Inspection of product produced to job specifications and quality standardsReceiving production order and job assignments from supervisor or lead.Obtaining needed supplies to produce job.Completing production records as required by company guidelines.Ensuring cleanliness of work area.Projecting positive and professional behavior/attitudeAdditional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned, as necessaryQualifications and skills include:Mechanical aptitudeAbility to solve routine production issuesAbility to operate and adjust mechanical equipment to maintain quality and speedWork independently with little supervisionDetail orientedGood color perceptionAble to make good decisions when problems present themselvesMulti task – the ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environmentBasic computer skills.Education and experience include:Screen printing experience requiredHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredMinimum 1 year operating screen printing equipment in a manufacturing settingScreen printing automatic press operator experience, a plusDigital or graphic screen printing experience, a plusCylinder press operation, a plusPhysical demands include:Ability to regularly lift/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.Bending and twisting for 8 hours or moreStanding and walking for 8 hours or moreGood color perception
