Screen Print OperatorIronwear is an established and growing safety solution provider. For over 30 years we have manufactured, developed, and reengineered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all industrial markets around the globe. The screen print operator is responsible for decorating any items that need applied heat transfers, screen printing, or pad printing.
This position includes ensuring print jobs are held to the highest quality standards. At times, this position includes taking part in extra tasks as needed.This position works Monday – FridayLocation: 359-C, Old Underwood Rd, La Porte, TXResponsibilitiesFulfilling customized orders including screen printing, heat transfers, and pad printing in a timely mannerOperating printing equipment safely and proficientlyFollow work orders meticulously and complete tasks within specified timelinesSetup and register multi-color jobs including 4-color process, simulated process, etc.Align multi-color jobs with micro-adjustments swiftly and accuratelyMaintaining proper cleanliness and maintenance of equipmentCollaborate with support staff to create an optimized and productive work environmentPrepare ink mixing as required for print jobsCarefully match paperwork (art/work orders/pick tickets) to production screens & garments with great attention to detailMeet established production guidelines for output and adhere to ship date compliancePerform quality control checks on printed garments to ensure they meet Style Guide Standards & Production Work OrdersRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listeningCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailStrong organizational skillsHigh sense of urgencyPossess basic PC skills for order lookup and updatesPositive, team-oriented attitudeEagerness to learn and adapt to other functionalities within the printing processEducation and Experience:2 years' experience working with screen printing presses, pad printing, and heat transfer equipmentKnowledge of all aspects of production: setting up/breaking down jobs, burning screens, reclaiming screens, mixing inks, etc.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in a warehouse environmentAbility to endure exposure to prolonged heatCapable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.Endurance to stand/walk for extended periodsWhat's In It For You!Competitive Compensation PlanGroup benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits with 100% premiums paid by IronwearPaid Time OffPaid Holidays401k with company match
