Screen Press OperatorTahoma Print and Manufacturing (TPM) is seeking a skilled Screen Press Operator. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot finishing equipment. This critical role will support our manufacturing division, as we continue to grow and diversify our business.Responsibilities:Excellent attendance for all scheduled shiftsIndependently set up and operate a semi-automatic graphic (non-textile) screen print pressResolve printing problems; adjust mechanical operation of press to maintain quality, registration, color, and speed at optimum for production of quality print piecesLearn and effectively utilize inks and print-related chemicals, as well as typical plastic print substratesJudge and maintain color consistency throughout runsResponsible for proper operation of ultra-violet curing equipment to ensure ink is curedAssist with other projects / tasks as assignedIdentify opportunities for improvements, identify potential areas of risk, and share information with key stakeholders to maximize results throughout TPMUse all company resources efficiently to promote maximum financial results for TPM; maintain TPM equipment and assets to maximize return on investmentEstablish and maintain effective business relationships with all employees, vendors, business partners, government/regulatory entities, and communities in which we operateStrictly follow workplace safety measures; safeguard the welfare of all employees, guests, visitors, and business partners at all times; promptly report workplace risks, incidents, injuries, and near missesAlways maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary business information and safeguard TPM assetsRequirements:Minimum:18 years or olderHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceGeneral familiarity with the printing industryExcellent attention to detail & willingness to learn new skillsSelf-driven and ability to work independently when needed, while also being able to work effectively within a team structureStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality workPC proficiencyAbility to problem solve, multi-task, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlinesGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishCulturally sensitive and works well with the full diversity of our company and communityUncompromising integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to pass a background checkPreferred:2+ years experience with graphic screen printing pressExperience with measuring and testing equipment such as calipers, densitometer, and/or spectrophotometerAbout Tahoma Print and Manufacturing:Tahoma Print and Manufacturing is a leading provider of innovative printing and production services, committed to delivering high-quality solutions for businesses across various industries.
