Screed & Roller Operator
As a Screed & Roller Operator at Huntzberry Brothers, Inc., you will work with a paving crew in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our projects. Safety is our #1 priority!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate paver screed, 1 TN, 5 TN and 10 TN rollers
- Compact asphalt material using rollers of various sizes
- Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition which includes greasing and checking fluids
- Keep exterior components (including tracks) cleaned out daily
- Park and store equipment safely at the end of each day
- Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions
- Cooperate with others in a team environment
- Accept direction from supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Working knowledge of and understand the screed on an 8' and 10' paver
- High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade
- Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, diagrams and specifications is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
