Pay Rate : $46/hr on W2

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with new non-viral nucleic acid delivery tools for in vivo and ex vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications. This person will be engaged in the analysis of novel nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work at the direction of Analytical scientists to quantitate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids
- Analyze raw materials for LNP formulations
- Establish relationships between physiochemical characteristics of experimental nanoparticle formulations and their efficacy and safety
- Maintain detailed records of analytical data
- Interface directly with other functional teams
- Share responsibility for basic lab management activities (supply ordering, instrument calibration, maintaining schedules)
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical sciences, bioengineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.)
- Proficiency at formulating buffers is required.
- Practical experience using analytical methods such as RiboGreen, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), and Zeta potential measurement is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is preferred.
- Experience and proficiency with other analytical techniques will be considered.
- Proficiency at MS Excel is required; prior experience with advanced analytical software (Prism, JMP) is desirable.
