Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you play a key role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at a school setting helping children with communication and language disorders.
Responsibilities
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the overall educational plan.
- Conduct thorough evaluations & assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results using expertise as a speech language pathologist.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into the student\'s overall educational plan.
- Regularly monitor and document the progress of students receiving speech-language services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing communication with stakeholders.
- Generate detailed progress reports to inform parents, teachers, and administrators about students\' achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Master\'s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or speech pathology
- Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License & or RPE License
- ASHA certification is preferred
