Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team for the school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve success both academically and socially.

In this role, you will conduct evaluations, provide speech and language therapy services, collaborate with educational staff and families, and support students in meeting their individualized goals.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  n

• n

  Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with student needs and IEP goals.

• n

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  n
n
• n

  Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• n

  Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

  n
n
• n

  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

  n
n
• n

  Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  Current health certificate, if required.

  n
n
• n

  Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 18 years of age.

  n
n
• n

  Compliance with all professional standards of practice.

  n
n
