Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade in Santa Maria, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population while helping children build the communication skills that support academic achievement, confidence, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.

  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

  Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, services, and student progress.

• n

  Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• n

  Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate.

• n

  Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

n
• n

  Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

  n
n
• n

  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

  n
n
• n

  Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred .

  n
n
• n

  Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  Current health certificate, if required.

  n
n
• n

  Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 18 years of age.

  n
n
• n

  Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.

  n
n
