School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Morristown, Tennessee

Put your expertise to work supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the spring semester! This contract opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants, including SLPs and SLPAs, to collaborate in a dynamic educational environment near Morristown, TN. As a valued team member, you'll play an essential role in helping children reach their communication goals.
Assignment Details:

• Caseload of approximately 50 students
• Assignment runs from January 4th through May 24th
• Flexible scheduling options available (both 35 hours/week full-time and part-time hours may be considered)
• Open to both SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active SLP, CCC, or SLPA licensure in Tennessee, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Skilled in designing, implementing, and documenting therapy plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs
• Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, document progress, and attend meetings as required
• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Collaborate with educational professionals and caregivers for holistic student support
• Adapt techniques and resources to serve a diverse student population
