School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Irwin, Pennsylvania

This full-time position runs from September 14, 2026, through approximately November 20, 2026, ensuring vital leave coverage for K-5th grade students. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm, giving you consistent daytime hours and a manageable caseload of around 55 students. The focus will be on performing speech evaluations, crafting impactful IEPs, and engaging with an energetic and supportive educational team.
Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure and SLP certification required
• Prior school-based experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
• Ability to administer and interpret speech evaluations
• Strong interpersonal skills with students, teachers, and families
• Organizational skills to manage caseload and required documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to children in grades K-5
• Conduct comprehensive speech assessments and write individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes per school and district standards
