School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ellicott City, Maryland

Make a meaningful impact supporting students while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity is based near Ellicott City, MD, with placements at multiple elementary, middle, and high school locations. Opportunities are available at Forest Ridge ES, Swansfield ES, Elkridge Landing MS, Hammond MS, Howard HS, and Wilde Lake HS. Full-time schedules can be arranged by combining assignments, including a unique split position across Wilde Lake HS and Howard HS.

Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students, collaborating with school teams, and helping children reach their full potential during the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• School-based experience preferred, but clinical supervision available for CFYs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability to work within a diverse educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy and diagnostic services to students in assigned school locations
• Evaluate childrens communication skills and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in school-based multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Engage in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture

This rewarding position offers consistent weekday hours (37.5 per week) on a school-year schedule, beginning August 10, 2026, through June 9, 2027. Youll have the chance to support a variety of age groups and collaborate with dedicated education professionals.
