Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-8 school setting in Buckeye, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a full-time school-based role with built-in support and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development throughout the school year.

The selected SLP will work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with educational staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services. SLPAs will be available to help support the caseload, providing valuable clinical assistance throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.

  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

  Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

  n

• n

  Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• n

  Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

n
• n

  Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

  n
n
• n

  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

  n
n
• n

  Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

  n
n
• n

  Current health certificate, if required.

  n
n
• n

  Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 18 years of age.

  n
n
• n

  Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.

  n
n
