School Speech Language Pathologist - Round Mountain, CA

Exciting opportunities await dedicated Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathology Assistants eager to make a difference in the lives of students for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Work in a supportive school environment, where flexible hours are possible within the standard school day of 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, and elementary schools typically dismiss earlier.
Take on a manageable caseload of approximately 15-20 students, ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. We welcome professionals with SLP credentials (CCC or CFY) as well as experienced SLPA candidates. For in-person SLPA applicants, your focus would be primarily on elementary students, collaborating under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
Desired qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
• Previous school-based experience is advantageous
• Understanding of a variety of communication disorders and therapy techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in an educational setting

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech/language therapy sessions
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff
• Support students across a range of grades, adapting techniques as needed
• Maintain accurate records and participate in relevant meetings
• For SLPA roles, deliver services under supervision per established guidelines
