Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide in-person services for charter school students. This is a leave coverage position for the upcoming school year, starting end of September or early October and lasting for 6 months. School Social Worker Salary: $45-$55 per hour. School Social Worker Schedule: Leave Coverage Full-Time (hours are approximately 8 AM to 3 PM). Elementary level age range working with students K-4. School Social Worker Qualifications: Must have school certification in New Jersey. Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances. Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain). School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include: Providing behavioral support services, driving student achievement for students with disabilities, responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data, providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning, mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills, developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students, handling Medicare reimbursements.
