School Relationship ManagerThe nation's largest in-school dental program is looking for a School Relationship Manager to facilitate in providing dental services to children who may not otherwise receive dental care. The School Relationship Manager (SRM) reports to the Director of Operations and forms a partnership with the Dental Team Manager, thereby establishing joint accountability for state performance.Essential functions include working as a team with the Dental Team Manager to ensure successful visits and meet goals for state performance, serving as the key liaison between the school and the dental team, and operational relationship management responsibilities including serving as primary point of contact for all school interactions pre-visit and post-visit, building and maintaining strong relationships with contacts in schools, maintaining frequent communication and customer service excellence, monitoring form receipt and encouraging participation, deploying oral health educators to improve form return where applicable, coordinating needs for automated patient/parent communications, managing and compiling visit lists and patient information for the school contacts and dental team, coordinating visit logistics with the school contact, ensuring dental teams have appropriate information on visit dates, maintaining full schedule and making adjustments as needed based on participation/capacity, scheduling current and future visits, reviewing feedback from school contacts and elevating as appropriate, maintaining and updating database, and jointly accountable for school performance with Dental Team Manager.Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, college degree preferred, not required. In fact, each year, over 51 million school hours are lost due to oral health related issues.Smile America Partners affiliates with state licensed dentists, hygienists and assistants who use state-of-the-art portable equipment to provide all services onsite, directly in the school or in a self-contained mobile dental facility on site at the school.
If portable equipment is used, classrooms, auditoriums or other school venues are literally transformed into fully functional dental offices for the day.
