Qualities and Experience Sought:

• Valid RN licensure in the state of Utah (or the ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous nursing experience in a pediatric, school, or community setting strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative approach when working with diverse student populations, families, and educational staff
• Current CPR/BLS certification required

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing services, including medication administration, first aid, and chronic condition management to students
• Monitor and manage care plans for students with specific health needs
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with privacy laws and school policies
• Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff-supporting wellness initiatives and providing health education as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create a safe and healthy school environment
• Respond promptly to urgent health needs or emergencies that arise during the school day
