Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the overnight operations of a comprehensive student health center located on a premier boarding school campus in Exeter, NH. This health center functions similarly to a small hospital and provides urgent care, inpatient observation, chronic disease management, behavioral health support, and 24/7 nursing services to approximately 1,200 high school students from across the United States and around the world.nnThe ideal candidate is a confident, independent nurse who thrives in acute care environments and is comfortable making clinical decisions overnight with physician support available on-call.nnResponsibilitiesn- Provide overnight nursing care for students requiring inpatient observation and treatmentn- Assess, triage, and manage walk-in health concerns and urgent medical needsn- Monitor and care for students admitted to the health center's inpatient unitn- Administer medications and treatments according to physician ordersn- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, counselors, and support staff to coordinate caren- Respond to acute illnesses, injuries, and behavioral health concernsn- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomesn- Support students managing chronic medical conditions while attending schooln- Escalate emergencies appropriately and coordinate hospital transfers when necessary.
