Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of behavioral, psychological, and educational assessment tools
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt and provide support in a dynamic and diverse school environment
  • Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools and techniques
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
  • Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state requirements
  • Assist in developing programs and strategies to improve students' well-being and school climate
