Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Washington State
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, creating behavior intervention plans, and interpreting assessment data
  • Knowledgeable in special education processes, eligibility determination, and IEP development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective teamwork and parent collaboration
  • Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and work independently within deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise on student needs
  • Offer consultation to teachers and parents to promote strategies for student learning and behavior
  • Provide short-term counseling or crisis intervention when needed
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state policies
  • Support initiatives that cultivate positive, inclusive learning environments
