Required Qualifications and Experience:
- State-issued license or credential for School Psychologist or School Counselor
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Previous experience in a school setting delivering psychological or counseling services
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills
- Expertise in crisis intervention, consultation, and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments as needed
- Offer individual and small group counseling to support students social-emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with educators and parents on interventions, accommodations, and strategies supporting student progress
- Contribute to problem-solving and intervention teams while developing and monitoring effective plans
- Facilitate social skills groups and mental health initiatives campus-wide
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation according to established policies
