School Psychologist

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Portsmouth, Virginia . If youre passionate about helping students overcome challenges, collaborating with educators, and making a meaningful impact every day, wed love to connect with you!

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and support stuåçdents with mental health and behavioral needs
• Provide individual and small group counseling services to students
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working in schools or with children required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
