Make a difference in the lives of Texas students as a contract School Psychologist in the Plano area. This onsite opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and offers full-time hours with a dynamic schedule supporting approximately three to four campuses. The role focuses on evaluating and supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs, while actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and families. Interviews are conducted virtually for your convenience.
Your Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas School Psychologist License
- Demonstrated, recent experience in a school-based psychology setting
- Proficient in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and managing related caseloads
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between assigned campuses
- Fully available for onsite workremote options are not available
What You'll Do:
- Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings to advocate for student needs
- Obtain informed consent and act as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to present evaluation findings
- Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with state and district procedures
- Partner with special education staff, administrators, teachers, and families
- Split your time as assigned across three to four campuses, providing direct onsite services
