What You'll Do
- Provide school psychological services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments and develop individualized recommendations.
- Provide mandated counseling services and maintain required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Help students improve social, emotional, and behavioral functioning and participation in the educational setting.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School Psychology program
- School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
