School Psychologist - Minden, NV

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility)
• Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
• Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements in educational settings

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and emotional health
• Design and implement direct and indirect interventions to address students academic and behavioral needs
• Assist in crisis response, providing counseling and resources as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
