Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility)
- Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and working with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements in educational settings
What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and emotional health
- Design and implement direct and indirect interventions to address students academic and behavioral needs
- Assist in crisis response, providing counseling and resources as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
