This full-time, onsite position runs through the academic year, offering the opportunity to conduct meaningful assessments and collaborate alongside dedicated educators and administrators.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field
- Current NM PED School Psychologist License
- Ability to travel between school sites within the district
- Previous experience conducting educational and behavioral evaluations preferred
- Strong consultative and communication skills
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students (average caseload of 30-40 evaluations)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized intervention strategies
- Support positive academic and behavioral outcomes through data-driven recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Deliver crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students’ well-being
- Collaborate with fellow School Psychologists and support staff to ensure continuity of services district-wide
