Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license is required
- Previous experience in school-based or educational settings is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptive, organized, and comfortable with an itinerant schedule serving Paw Paw, Lawrence, and Bangor areas
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Develop and support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative support for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to promote student well-being
- Contribute to the multitiered systems of support and positive behavioral interventions within each school
- Maintain thorough documentation and follow all state and federal guidelines
