School Psychologist in Houston, TX

Empower students to reach their full potential by making a real difference as a school psychologist in the Houston area for the academic year! Multiple full-time openings are available, with each role serving approximately five campuses in either South or West Houston. As a valued team member, youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and specialists to provide comprehensive support, fostering students well-being and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (be prepared to provide a license snapshot and redacted report)
• Previous school-based experience is required for consideration
• Full-time commitment (37.5 hours per week) for the academic year
• On-site presence is necessary; there may be some flexibility for report writing from home as needed
• Must have reliable transportation to commute between assigned campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic and behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
• Guide and participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation according to district and state guidelines
