Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Michigan School Psychologist license
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 student populations
- Familiarity with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Proficient in developing student-centered interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Flexible and resourceful approach to challenges
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a K-12th grade caseload, providing direct psychological and counseling services
- Conduct multifaceted assessments to identify student needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a safe, positive learning environment
- Support crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team activities
