Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or Ed. S. in School Psychology or related field.
  • Eligible for Montana Class 6 certification or Class 5 (only needing internship).

Responsibilities

  • Consultation and collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, and community professional agencies.
  • Psychoeducational assessment.
  • Active in RTI – development of interventions, support for student social skills and counseling behavior.
  • Child Find screenings.
  • Teaming with educational staff for special education students.
  • Data-based decision making and accountability.
  • Home/School/Community collaboration; i.e., multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health child advocacy.
  • Adherence to district, state, and federal policies.

Employment : 187 days per school year for the 2025/2026 school year.

Salary : Follows School Psychologist Salary Schedule (salary dependent on education and experience).
