Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Ed. S. in School Psychology or related field.
- Eligible for Montana Class 6 certification or Class 5 (only needing internship).
Responsibilities
- Consultation and collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, and community professional agencies.
- Psychoeducational assessment.
- Active in RTI – development of interventions, support for student social skills and counseling behavior.
- Child Find screenings.
- Teaming with educational staff for special education students.
- Data-based decision making and accountability.
- Home/School/Community collaboration; i.e., multidisciplinary teams.
- Prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health child advocacy.
- Adherence to district, state, and federal policies.
Employment : 187 days per school year for the 2025/2026 school year.
Salary : Follows School Psychologist Salary Schedule (salary dependent on education and experience).
