In this dynamic role, youll collaborate with multiple schools around Golden, CO, focusing exclusively on conducting initial student evaluations. With a consistent 37.5-hour workweek spread across five days, youll have the chance to make a meaningful impact without the responsibility for ongoing IEP service provision.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive assessment practices within a school setting
• Previous experience participating on assessment or intervention teams is highly valued
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
• Ability to travel between elementary sites as needed
• Commitment to timely, accurate documentation and ethical evaluation standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough psychoeducational assessments for elementary students as part of eligibility determinations
• Collaborate closely with team members, including administrators, educators, and other specialists, to interpret results and contribute to decision-making
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, presenting assessment findings to support student placement and services
• Maintain clear, concise, and confidential records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Provide consultation to staff regarding best practices in evaluation and student supports, as appropriate
