Requirements:
- Illinois Professional Educator License with Psychologist Endorsement
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of local, state and federal Special Education laws, mandates, policies, process and procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in data-based decision making and problem solving for evaluation/assessment purposes.
- Demonstrates knowledge of evidence-based strategies to develop academic skills, social skills, and life skills.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally
- By providing assessment, support, and intervention services to students, partner with families, teachers, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments; and collaborate with community providers to coordinate services for students
