Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Clinton Township, Michigan for the school year. This full-time position will serve a K12 caseload , working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K12


• Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports


• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings


• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to develop appropriate interventions and supports


• Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns


• Assist with crisis intervention and support school-wide initiatives as needed


• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

• Active Michigan School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start of the assignment


• Experience in a school setting preferred


• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills


• Ability to manage a K12 caseload and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
