Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Clinton Township, Michigan for the school year. This full-time position will serve a K12 caseload , working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K12
- Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to develop appropriate interventions and supports
- Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns
- Assist with crisis intervention and support school-wide initiatives as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
- Active Michigan School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start of the assignment
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a K12 caseload and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
