Position Title: School Psychologist
Location(s): Will Cover Two Campuses | 3 days onsite – 2 days virtual
Pay: $70/hr
Job Details:
Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by providing comprehensive psychological services in accordance with Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) regulations. Responsibilities include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, participating in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing counseling and crisis intervention, consulting with educators and families, developing behavioral intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive learning environments. The School Psychologist uses data-driven practices to support student achievement, ensure compliance with federal and state special education requirements, and foster equitable outcomes for all students.
Qualifications:
Must
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Maryland certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility for certification through the Maryland State Department of Education
- Knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessment, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skill
