We are seeking a collaborative and student-centered School Psychologist to support the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs of students. The School Psychologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive evaluations, support special education services, implement evidence-based interventions, and promote positive school climates through consultation and crisis response.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and support stuåçdents with mental health and behavioral needs
- Provide individual and small group counseling services to students
- Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs
- Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions
- Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience working in schools or with children required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
