Salary: $69,630 (minimum) to $103,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience

The North Plainfield School District is seeking a caring, student-centered School Nurse to support the health, safety, and well-being of our diverse student population.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat students who become ill or injured during the school day.
- Maintain health records and document visits, treatments, and health concerns.
- Administer medications according to district policy and applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized health plans when needed.
- Support students with chronic health conditions
- Train appropriate staff on emergency procedures when necessary.
- Communicate with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.
- Complete health Screenings
- Immunization and Health Compliance
- Maintain accurate health records.
- Monitor illness trends within the school.
- Support emergency drills and crisis response.
- Provide health Education
- Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- New Jersey School Nurse Certificate preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
