Qualifications:
- Valid LPC license in Texas
- Experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple campuses
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptable and organized, with excellent time management
- Provide direct counseling services to approximately 30 students across five campuses
- Support students' academic performance, personal growth, and social skills development
- Develop and implement strategies to address behavioral issues and enhance student well-being
- Consult with educators and guardians to create individualized support plans
- Maintain confidential student records and necessary documentation
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with school personnel to support student success
- Adapt to evolving caseload needs as determined by the district
This contract role begins August 12, 2025, and runs through May 21, 2027, averaging 16 hours per week. You'll have the chance to build relationships across a close-knit community of students and staff, contributing to a positive school culture.
