Core Responsibilities (For All Licensures)
- Direct Student Support: Provide individual and small-group counseling for students navigating grief, anxiety, behavior challenges, or academic stress.
- Crisis Response: Serve on the school crisis and safety team to assist with immediate student needs or safety interventions.
- Staff Collaboration & MTSS: Consult with teachers and principals to develop Tier 1 and Tier 2 classroom intervention strategies as part of our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- NYS Compliance: Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 meetings as required by your specific credential
