September 1, 2026 through October 30, 2026 Requirements: New Jersey certified school counselor must demonstrate the following: knowledge, skills and a background in school counseling. Ability to effectively articulate and advocate for children's needs with teachers, administration, and parents. Superior communication skills. Prior knowledge of PowerSchool a plus. Awareness of the New Jersey learning standards and state assessment protocol.
