School Counselor - Magnolia, Texas

This position plays a key role in helping students succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. You will be based near Magnolia, TX, and work collaboratively with elementary and middle school students across multiple campuses.
Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active LPC license in the state of Texas
• Prior experience in counseling children or adolescents in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Capacity to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Adaptable to varying caseloads and locations within the district
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical guidelines at all times

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling sessions individually and in small groups for approximately 30 students across five campuses
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and career development goals
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide referrals to appropriate resources when necessary
• Develop and implement age-appropriate social-emotional wellness programs
• Consult with educators and families to design interventions tailored to each student's needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all relevant school policies

This contract position is set to begin August 12, 2025, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a flexible weekly schedule of 16 hours and the chance to make a real impact across several campuses.
