Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active LPC license in the state of Texas
- Prior experience in counseling children or adolescents in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
- Capacity to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Adaptable to varying caseloads and locations within the district
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical guidelines at all times
- Provide counseling sessions individually and in small groups for approximately 30 students across five campuses
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and career development goals
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide referrals to appropriate resources when necessary
- Develop and implement age-appropriate social-emotional wellness programs
- Consult with educators and families to design interventions tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all relevant school policies
This contract position is set to begin August 12, 2025, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a flexible weekly schedule of 16 hours and the chance to make a real impact across several campuses.
