Enterprise Charter School (ECS) Overview:

Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 2003, ECS is committed to "Engaging young minds through projects and partnerships."

We pursue our mission through our Charter's key design elements, with our primary focus on highly engaging project-based learning, comprehensive arts education, and individualized instruction for enrichment and acceleration. Enterprise Charter School is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a School Counselor position for grades K-8 for the school year. Candidates must be NYSED certified in Guidance/School Counselor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  A demonstrated interest in impacting K-8students in an urban school and community

  Ability to provide counseling for student in the areas of self-esteem, communication skills, decision-making and relationship skills

• n

  Knowledge of when to act and the ability to make decisions quickly

  n
n
• n

  Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers and other administrators

  n
n
• n

  Empathic listener that allows for students to open up and feel heard

  n
n
• n

  Assist with Crisis Intervention Services

  n
n

Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System. Position starts at $55,000 higher rate based on certifications and experience.
