Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid COTA license (or eligibility for licensure) in Delaware
- Experience in a school environment is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and work well both independently and with a team
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential
- Support implementation of individualized education and therapy plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Assist students in developing and improving fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student care planning
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages student participation and growth
