Key Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Indiana COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementing therapy goals
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse abilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L in accordance with students' IEP goals
- Assist with evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities
- Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to integrate therapy strategies into students' daily activities
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills to enhance classroom participation
